We return to dystopian landscapes with the recent release of Glanko, “Alset”. A beautiful production of sounds and soundscapes, blended with engaging riffs and melodies is “Alset’s” main ingredient. Hard techno beats with glitch maneuvers in the dark is the perfect addition to a very interesting recipe.
The dark theme of this release is evolving around isolated and mechanized environments with a constant feel of tragedy and melancholy. The rhythmic minimal ambient that surrounds most tracks meets keyboard –based music composition. Compositions that we find them arranged at the base of some tracks or as structural additions to the more ambient - oriented ones.
