Strong and complete compositions are really hard to find in each of the tracks of an EP. “Scenes” is like a collection with the most distinctive tracks of a full length album. Each one stands out on its own way with the style it adopts. Electro – glitch is Scanone’s main approach, but idm-focused and dub(ier) tracks come along.
The beautifully arranged rhythms are combined with beautiful cinematic compositions. Scanone’s artistry is manifested when he extends his first track, delivering a whole new performance on sound, orchestration and bleeps, namely a completely different track. All the tracks are actually monotony repellents as they alternate their sounds and arrangements even when they are based on a single melody. Their structure is attached to the feelings Scanone wants to express every single moment.
Πολιτικό θρίλερ διαδραματίζεται αυτές τις ώρες στην υπόγεια αίθουσα της μικρής αποθήκης. Οι σποραδικές φωνές αποκαλύπτουν την ένταση, ενώ οι συνέπειες που ακολουθούν τις πιο απεχθείς εξελίξεις, ανατριχιάζουν τους πάντες. Όλα αλλάζουν ξαφνικά όμως. Τα δάκρυα ποτάμια στα μάγουλα όλων των παρευρισκομένων. Η φράση, σε αγάπησα, τους αναστάτωσε όλους. Ήταν όμως και ταμπού. Όλα είχαν τελειώσει . Αυτή πήρε τα βουνά και αυτός ταξί. Ένας άλλος τους μούντζωσε και ο υπόλοιπος θίασος άρχισε να κοιτάει ο ένας την άλλη, ο άλλος τον άλλο και μια τον κανένα… με διαφορετικό μάτι. Είχαν χάσει ούτος ή άλλως τον στόχο τους, από παλιά. Δε θα γίνει φέτος το φεστιβάλε.
