r.roo’s focus on piano in addition to his cello and violin sounds and phrases, describe very accurately his neo-classical and minimal–ambient influence. But he has got his hands dirty with rhythm beats from classic idm-style to techno and dubstie. He undoubtedly is not the average minimal - glitch type.
In mgnovenie, some tracks flow with the ambient stream, others are delivered with a more orchestral structure and most of them are dressed with an emotional and melancholic mood. But the tempo is often fast or it gradually evolves that way. Melodies and hard beats is Tympanik’s obvious preference and with r.roo they managed to hit the jackpot. He has certainly produced some great “hits” here on mgnovenie.
Τα πάντα γύρω μου κινούνται γρήγορα. Κόσμος παντού. Φωνές, συνθήματα, φωτιές. Δεν ξέρω αν είμαι μόνος που κοιτάω σα χάνος. Αυτή η κίνηση, παρακινεί όμως και μένα. Πήγα από εκεί, βοήθησα εδώ. Κάπου αλλού είναι που έτρεχα. Τα πράματα γύρω μου όμως κινούνται πάλι γρήγορα. Πιο γρήγορα. Στέκομαι για άλλη μια φορά σιωπηλός και αμήχανος ανάμεσα στα πλήθη. Βρίσκονται και άλλοι εδώ, μου μοιάζουν. Δεν μιλήσαμε όμως ποτέ. Δεν κατάλαβα πως βρέθηκα εδώ, αλλά βρέθηκα. Είμαι πάλι σπίτι μου και είμαι μόνος. Κρατώ όμως κάποιες στιγμές. Εις το επανιδείν λοιπόν.
