“The Road is a River” is an experimental world themed album by Lofeye. It is filled with samples from folk riffs and voices with a techno(ish) beat and feel. In addition to the samples, Lofeye enhances the tracks with original voices, minimal “dark” programmed melodies and live instruments.
The outcome is sometimes danceable and uplifting and other times thoughtful and “aggressive”. Most of the tracks may eventually be carved out to your mind for quite a time. “The Road is a River” tell us stories of a trip, through paved paths covered by the artist Lofeye from Ecuador.
Είμαστε στην αρχή ακόμα. Ίσως όμως και λίγο πριν το τέλος. Φαντάζει μακριά το φθινόπωρο, αλλά βαρύς ο χειμώνας. Δεν έχει σημασία όμως μιας και ο χρόνος μετράει πιο γρήγορα κάθε φορά που προσθέτεις έναν. Ή μήπως έτσι είναι το δικό μας βίωμα μέσα από την καθημερινή επανάληψη, το άγχος και την μοναξιά. Ερώτημα, σε αυτούς που δε θα πεθάνουν ποτέ.
